Starport Technologies, LLC was founded in 2006. Located in Kansas City, Missouri, Starport is RFID-centric inside and out. Starport Technologies, a “smart label” company, manufactures RFID tags that support a variety of metal-mount and supply chain applications. Based in Kansas City, Starport offerings leverage the science and technology of leading research institutions, including work initiated at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the University of Kansas.

Using our specific operating and business strategy, we are able to provide some of the most competitive pricing available within the RFID market. As an approved converter for all major inlay manufacturers. We are able to provide many customers with lower costs than directly purchasing a converted RFID inlay from the inlay manufacturers. With over 150 years of combined narrow web converting experience, the management team of Starport Technologies has engineered and assembled an RFID tag and label converting platform unique to the industry. Starport Technologies has the ability to combine various face materials, adhesives, RFID transponders, printing, and other specialty coated web materials allowing for a unique combination of materials being converted into a single pass through the converting platform. This unique converting capability allows for Starport Technologies to offer a wide range of RFID products and other types of smart labels for numerous functional purposes.
