After graduating, he pursued medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed an ophthalmology residency program at Beaumont Health. 

Dr. Szeles II is a board-certified physician through the American Board of Ophthalmology and the American Board of Otolaryngology. He holds special interest in minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) and cataract surgery. ?
